ReframeUs is building the world’s first living visual archive of global Jewish life—created with Jewish communities to help reshape how Jews are represented in media, education, and AI.
Imagine lighting Hanukkah candles with the Jews of India. Walking through centuries-old synagogues in Morocco. Cooking Shabbat dinner with families in Argentina. Experiencing the traditions, languages, music, holidays, and everyday moments that tell the story of one people across many continents.
Together, these stories—and the joy, resilience, and humanity they capture—will become part of a growing collection of authentic Jewish imagery, video, testimonies, and cultural storytelling. The collection will include rights-cleared visual resources that help educators, journalists, creators, museums, and media organizations tell more authentic Jewish stories, inspire traveling exhibitions and educational experiences, and over time help build representative visual datasets that inform how generative AI portrays Jewish people and Jewish life.
Our mission is not simply to document Jewish diversity. It is to ensure Jewish communities become the authors of our collective visual story—helping shape how the world sees, understands, and remembers the Jewish people for generations to come.
