The MTT Initiative is a new platform dedicated to improving social cohesion through a variety of efforts, by engaging children across all platforms – within the formal education system, youth movements, children’s media channels, and more. A school-based campaign facilitates a youth-driven effort to change the way we speak about others with whom we disagree, lowering the temperature in a way that allows us to have positive discussions about issues without personal attacks. A landmark annual conference at the President’s Residence will also serve as a visible stage for the “silent majority” to connect through facilitated dialogue, cross-community encounters, and shared cultural celebrations.
