As we stepped into 2025, we’re in full motion, preparing for the March conference and the exciting journey ahead with our newly announced 150 council members. January and February have been months of building, planning, and laying down the foundations for what’s next. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at what our team has been working on:

 

Conference Preparations in Full Swing

The countdown to our March conference is on! This will be the first time that all council members, facilitators, fellows, and leadership gather in person. Planning has been intensive, covering everything from flights and accommodations to session content, logistics, and special programming.

  • Sessions & Content: The team is working closely with content advisors and experts to support the council as they begin tackling the challenges ahead.
  • Training & Preparation: Fellows and facilitators have been undergoing specialized training through a series of structured sessions and workshops to prepare for their roles in guiding discussions and fostering collaboration.
  • Behind-the-Scenes Logistics: Everything from scheduling to travel to curating meaningful experiences is coming together to ensure a smooth and impactful conference. In February, we finalized the agenda, secured key speakers, and coordinated special activities to enhance the experience for participants.
 

A Major Milestone: First Full-Council Meeting 

On February 9th, we officially kicked off our journey together with the first-ever all-hands virtual meeting. For the first time, 150 council members, fellows, and facilitators gathered in one space, led by CEO Shirel Dagan-Levy and President Isaac Herzog. This meeting marked the true beginning of the work ahead, setting the stage for the collaborative efforts that will unfold over the next two years.

Marketing & Communications: Amplifying Our Voice

January was a big month for sharing VoP with the world:

  • The official announcement of our 150 council members sparked global interest, with in-house PR and marketing efforts securing media coverage and outreach.
  • Conference marketing efforts kicked into high gear, ensuring that both internal and external audiences are engaged with the journey ahead. We launched dedicated campaigns to highlight what’s coming, introduce council members, and give a behind-the-scenes look at preparations.
  • Meet the Team Video: We filmed a short video to introduce the team behind the initiative, soon to be shared with the council and our wider community.
  • The VOP Hub: In February, we launched the VOP Hub, an exclusive app designed for council members, fellows, and facilitators to connect, collaborate, and stay updated. This new platform will help streamline communication ahead of the conference.
 

A New Era for VoP: Officially Standing on Our Own

The start of 2024 marked a huge organizational milestone – VoP is now officially operating as an independent entity. This transition comes with new responsibilities, a newly formed board of directors, and operational shifts that will shape the future of our work.

 

Looking Ahead 

With so many moving parts, March is where it all comes to life. The months of preparation will culminate in the first-ever in-person gathering of the full VOP council. We are eager to see our council members dive into discussions, build relationships, and begin their journey toward real, tangible impact.
