As Voice of the People continues to grow and evolve, November has been a month filled with progress, planning, and laying the groundwork for impactful initiatives. From advancing our council selection process to gearing up for our major conference in March 2025, here’s a look at what we’ve been working on this past month
The journey to selecting our Global Council reached a pivotal stage this month. With 400 candidates participating in group interview sessions—spanning 38 sessions and averaging 12 participants per session—the process was both intensive and rewarding. Each session involved two hours of in-depth discussions, with additional time dedicated to thorough preparation and post-session evaluations.
As we move closer to finalizing the council, the next stages of algorithmic selection are underway. This data-driven approach ensures that our council reflects the diversity, creativity, and leadership needed to address the pressing challenges facing the global Jewish community.
November also marked a special milestone with an event for the Australasian Jewish community, featuring an engaging conversation with President Isaac Herzog. This gathering highlighted the global reach of Voice of the People and underscored our commitment to fostering meaningful connections across the Jewish world.
Planning for our upcoming in-person conference in Israel has gained momentum. From shaping the content and agenda to selecting vendors and refining logistics, every detail is being meticulously organized to ensure an impactful gathering. This conference will bring together our council members and leaders from around the globe to collaborate and chart the future of Voice of the People.
Our program development efforts have also accelerated. November saw significant progress in recruiting and selecting facilitators and fellows, as well as preparing robust training sessions to ensure their success. At the same time, the findings from our global survey are being analyzed, helping to define the 10 key challenges that will guide the council’s work in the coming year. Content tailored to support council members is also being finalized, creating a solid foundation for their upcoming initiatives.
On the marketing front, preparations for the March conference are in full swing, with an emphasis on crafting campaigns that inspire engagement and participation. The Australia event highlighted the value of tailored community connections, while survey data is being transformed into visually engaging and educational materials to share with our network. These efforts ensure that every achievement and insight resonates with our diverse audience. Additionally, we’re expanding our team, with an active search for a full-time community manager to further enhance our outreach and engagement.
November has been a transformative month, as we continue to build momentum for the year ahead. From the intricate process of council selection to preparing for our first major global gathering, every step reflects our commitment to fostering a vibrant, connected, and empowered Jewish community. Stay tuned as we share more updates in the coming months—together, we’re building blueprints for lasting change.
