The Abraham Accords opened doors diplomatically, but that didn’t translate to everyday people’s lives. High-tech and defense partnerships began, but for most citizens, the diplomatic breakthroughs haven’t turned into real, human connections. We believe environmental collaboration can lay the groundwork for something more lasting than any diplomatic agreement, because when people work side by side on problems that impact everyone equally, such as water scarcity, they build a deeper trust than politics alone can produce.
Mosaic Impact Labs is partnering with Israel’s Arava Institute to turn that belief into practice, starting with a listening-first mission in the UAE to understand real water and agricultural challenges on the ground. From there, we’re building toward a longer-term collaboration by bringing Israeli and Emirati partners together around real pilot projects and creating exchange and educational opportunities between Arava and students from across the Abraham Accords region. It’s climate work in service of something bigger: a region with one shared future.
