We are thrilled to announce a monumental milestone for Voice of the People – the selection of our 150 council members!
The newly selected council consists of 150 remarkable individuals representing the entire spectrum of the global Jewish community. Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds, professions, experiences, and perspectives – from young emerging leaders to seasoned experts in their fields, from across countries, industries, and belief systems. This diversity will allow us to explore complex issues from multiple angles and develop solutions that are both inclusive and effective.
Shirel Dagan-Levy, CEO of Voice of the People, added:

Together, they embody our commitment to unity through dialogue, ensuring that every voice – from every corner of the Jewish world – is heard as we work to tackle the pressing challenges facing the Jewish people.”
To support them in this journey, the council members will work alongside experienced facilitators, mentors, fellows, and content advisors who will guide and support them throughout their work. Each group within the council will focus on a specific topic or issue, working collaboratively to address critical issues and propose actionable solutions for the global Jewish community.
We cannot wait to get started! The council will collaborate closely through a conference, working groups, and collaborative projects, with the aim of developing impactful solutions and ensuring the next generation is empowered and our collective voice remains strong.
President Isaac Herzog shared:

We are especially looking forward to welcoming the council members in person at our upcoming conference in March, taking place in Israel – a pivotal moment to connect, collaborate, and continue shaping the future together.
As we announce this milestone, we are also filled with renewed hope for the future. The recent hostage deal has brought immense relief with the return of three hostages who are finally reunited with their families after 471 days of captivity. This moment inspires us to remain steadfast in our commitment and prayers for the safe return of the remaining 94 hostages. We stand united in hope and strength until they are all home.
