Voice of the People: Already Speaking

Before our first post-conference sessions have even begun, something remarkable has already happened: the Voice of the People is speaking. It speaks in many tones—grateful, funny, poetic, curious, urgent—and in many forms: languages, emojis, links, and late-night blessings. It echoes in dance invitations, volunteer opportunities, kindness over lost AirPods, shared prayers for hostages, and welcome after welcome into one another’s lives.

The “voice” isn’t a metaphor. It’s us. And we’re not just using our voices: we’re using our ears, our hearts, and our minds. We’re thinking intentionally, listening generously, and allowing ourselves to be moved by one another. I find myself reflecting on the diverse perspectives and experiences that were shared with me, on the innovators who are already solving real-world problems, and wondering how these ideas can drive meaningful change. This is how we begin to build something meaningful and lasting together.

As we enter this next phase in smaller groups, we have a unique opportunity to reflect and co-create. These virtual circles aren’t just for conversation. They’re for catalyzing action, both local and global, personal and collective. Consider sharing in the comments below::

What has stayed with you from our gathering in Haifa? An image, quote, idea, challenge, or story that’s still shaping how you move through the world?

What small action, collaboration, or experiment could emerge from your group that reflects the energy we sparked together?

What would it look like to create “Voices in Motion”—updates, poems, art, or initiatives that ripple outward from our groups to the rest of the council and beyond?

We don’t need to wait for permission, platforms, or perfect conditions. The thread has already begun. Our job now is to weave it forward, with intentionality, accountability, and love.

Let’s keep listening. Let’s keep speaking. Let’s keep becoming the Voice of the People.

Shabbat Shalom!
